According to MTV, the book "Layne Staley: Angry Chair" details the AIC singer's final interview with author Adriana Rubio, an Argentinian journalist. The last public appearance he made was almost four years before his death when he attended his bandmate Jerry Cantrells solo concert in Seattle on Halloween in 1998.
